Introducing
The new page on my blog where I post my
favourite spells taken from a variety of books and put my own unique spin on
them. I may substitute an ingredient, or add a symbol; sometimes I will be
calling a more personal energy or rewriting an incantation to my own style.
It took me a long time to be confident in
writing my own workings and even longer before I would adapt someone else's.
Now, I feel very uncomfortable using a spell that is completely written by
another witch, so this adaptation process works very well for me. Of course, I
still write my own when the need arises but for speed and practice it is a
great way to get used to adding something of yourself into a working.
I have decided to do this based on my Healing Meditation & Debt Free Spell posts which were both adapted from books.
